Not lovin' it.....

The McD's is a decent meeting point when you are caravanning on a roadtrip. Who would have guessed our clan would have been the first to arrive at the meeting point?

We aren't frequent eaters of such delicacies at home, but, well, there's always the fun of having a beer with your meal....even if it is breakfast. Don't underestimate the thrill of seeing what different countries offer on their menu that we don't...but alas, here in Italy, they don't open until ten!!!!

It was a week day no less.

Hilariously Mc'Italian.

It appears as though our sophisticated diners are incognito at "Mickey D's Italiano". They wish not to be seen eating at such an establishment? They are as adorable as always and do look very glam. I have questions....I get the beer, but what about hotcakes that are sorely absent from the Italian menu? Inquiring minds want to know. Keep up the blog Mommy-O. I find myself always "hungry" for more. Love and miss all of you. Mimi

Have a Very Merry Un-birthday to you, to you....

The tallest of the small is 6.5 years old. We had the usual half-birthday fun. At school, on her half-birthday, one of her friends told her that half birthdays aren't real. She mentioned this to me when she got off the bus. Then she asked me if half birthdays are "real." Hmmmmm. "What do you think?" I asked her (love that parenting technique). Well, she explained that lots of people don't celebrate their half birthdays, most people probably. But since we do, they are real for us. Sounds good to me : ) You get to celebrate their lives twice as many times- how can I resist, besides, it involves CAKE people! Happy half-birthday!
